In addition to promoting suitable resolutions for housing, housing lot and urban issues, the Association submits proposals and requests to the national government, local governments and the like through the compilation of opinions and requests regarding the legal system, tax system and financial issues, with the aim of realizing a healthy development of the real-estate industry.
- Studies of the monthly supply of condominiums in the Tokyo, Kinki and Chubu metropolitan areas based on member companies as the sample.
- Execution of studies concerning the housing and office market and needs, economic benefits of the private redevelopment business, ideal tax system, housing finance, energy consumption, waste disposal and the like to promote environmental activism within the real-estate industry
Provision of information on new condominiums and stand-alone housing supplied by member companies through the Association’s website and various portal sites.
Introduction of Association activities and real-estate data on our website, the holding of regular press conferences, issuing of chairman comments, issuing of handbooks and public relations journals, etc.
Holding of regular seminars on domestic and overseas economic trends, city, housing and land policies, etc.
- Holding briefings on related laws and land and housing taxation systems; briefings on the financing system of the Japan Housing Finance Agency, etc.
- Holding legal study sessions for registered real-estate transaction authorized sales staff, training seminars for employees of member companies, etc.
Holding site visits to stand-alone housing areas, condominium areas and urban redevelopment projects; and visiting overseas real-estate projects.
Certifying required evidence for receiving special applications under the real-estate tax system and providing administrative support for screening.
- Working with related coorperative bodies, the Association promotes resolutions to various issues that the entire industry should tackle as a means to improve the national living lifestyle of citizens so as to achieve sound development of the industry.
- Participating in the Council of Real Estate Fair Trade in National Capital Region and cooperating with its activities to optimize the display of public real-estate announcements.
- Member and proactive participant in Nippon Keidanren, Japan Project-Industry Council (JAPIC) and other bodies.
Member organization in the Japan chapter of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), the largest international organization of real-estate companies, and actively promoting international activities as the Japanese secretariat of the organization.
- Cooperation and support of various social, cultural, academic and research activities, and the holding of international conferences.
- Recognition and support of books about land, urban development, housing, architecture, finance, or environment which are considered beneficial to the real estate business people.
Resolving disputes involving member companies, providing general real-estate consultation, etc.
